Subject: Re: CNBC's recap of today's AM
You're welcome, Ben! Love your name, Ben was the name of my best friend and the Best Man at my wedding. I met him at the 2000 A.M.! Benkea! He and I would always awaken very early (for us left coasters), put on a pot of coffee and eagerly await BRK's results! I miss him tons! I still have great friends from the old Yahoo boards and subsequent meeting in Omaha, at the Homewood Inn.

I heard both Warren and Charlie heap praise upon Greg (and Ajit). Ajit is well known to most of us. I was amazed and comforted by their faith in Greg. They've both seen in him in action for years now and are extremely confident in Greg's ability to evaluate and attract future deals, run our company, calculate BRK's IV in order to buy our stock when it's the best use of our capital and preserve our culture. They also related they have confidence in Greg's ability to select Ajit's successor, although it would be a difficult task. Another difficult task would be for the board to replace Greg if anything were to happen to him. Warren, Charlie, Greg and the board have pre-thought so much, that I think it's probably a great idea to watch the A.M. in its entirety to enjoy the enhanced comfort I feel with BRK's future. So, it seems like everyone is thinking ahead and planning for the worst.

Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to totally review CNBC's excellent tapes recapping today's meetings, although I watched the entire presentation live. But I guess I've been instinctively practicing what Warren and Charlie extensively opined upon today regarding the importance of family! My Grandson had 3 back-to-back Junior High level basketball games this afternoon immediately after our AM, and I attended all three games. My 73-year-old, 9-year, stage 4 cancerous body is now totally tired : )

BTW, his team won first place in their division. Grandpa's gotta brag!
