Trump said other countries are sending “prisoners, murderers, drug dealers, mental patients and terrorists”, which is strange given that violent crime is *decreasing*, and that in immigrant communities it is decreasing even faster than overall.

Even weirder, there are three dozen murders every day in the US, and 99.9% of them are caused by US citizens, yet the only ones he screams about are the rare - to the point of almost statistical insignificance - of crimes committed by immigrants.
