And it isn't just that. Back when Trump was trying to commandeer local police forces into things they didn't want to do with the immigrant community he helped cause the immigrant community to lower cooperation with the police. This means, less immigrant on immigrant crime being reported, because they are talking about rounding up all illegals and using the local police to help. I've seen stats that cooperation lowered 60% and more in some areas.

We need cooperation if we're going to deal effectively with crime in these areas - Trump didn't help.
