The Indians were slaughtering and enslaving one another for centuries before the Europeans even got here..... History is full of weaker populations being subjugated by more powerful invaders. It may not be right, but it is the way of the world.
Yes. The populations of the world are tribal.
First: the fact that native American tribes were slaughtering and enslaving one another before the Europeans arrived doesn't justify what the settlers did to them.
Second: if conquering peoples from other cultures....and killing/subjugating to accomplish it....is simply the way of the world, then why does Wilton make such a big big deal of how awful the French were in that respect, and how.....he is convinced....kind the U.S. has been.
Yet the American Indians, who are already here, languish on the reservations forever dependent on Government handouts. OK with me, it is their choice
I don't think you're aware of much of what has been happening on and off the reservations, both in terms of the challenges that native Americans face and the successes an increasing number are making in overcoming them.
