Snip Trump Hatches New Plot to Attack His Political Enemies

Thanks for reminding me. I remember an uproar about the IRA office in Cincinnati challenging the tax exempt status of organizations. Wondered how that came out.

In 2013, the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS), under the Obama administration, revealed that it had selected political groups applying for tax-exempt status for intensive scrutiny based on their names or political themes. This led to wide condemnation of the agency and triggered several investigations, including a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) criminal probe ordered by United States Attorney General Eric Holder. Conservatives claimed that they were specifically targeted by the IRS, but an exhaustive report released by the Treasury Department's Inspector General in 2017 found that from 2004 to 2013, the IRS used both conservative and liberal keywords to choose targets for further scrutiny.

On September 8, 2017, the Trump Justice Department declined to reopen the criminal investigation into Lois Lerner, a central figure in the controvers

As the report came out when his nibs was in power, seems the takeaway is there was not the slightest shred of evidence the IRS' investigation was biased against the right.

I mentioned a while back, that The Henry Ford, a museum complex in Dearborn, MI, has, at great expense, moved a house from Selma, Alabama to Greenfield Village, due the many prominent people in the civil rights movement who passed through that house in the 60s. The reassembled house is supposed to open next year. I would not be surprised if the regime declared the house "woke", and "crt", and demanded The Henry Ford tear the house down and destroy the materials, or their tax exempt status would be revoked.
