The AI Frenzy Is Back and Lifting the Entire Stock Market to Record Highs

Putting on my Luddite hat: in previous bubbles, over the last 30 years, we have seen "biotech", that promised new pharmaceutical breakthroughs, "dot-com", that promised new modes of commerce, and "information superhighway", that promised faster and cheaper communications. Seems, the AI hysteria is celebrating many, many, thousands of USians being put out of work. Are we sure that the aggregate impact of AI is a net positive for the economy?
