Subject: Where is America?
Interesting bit on the Beeb earlier this evening. Anchor and guest discussing the situation in Venezuela, and how the Venezuelan government is a no-show, in helping it's citizens. I have seen rescue teams with their coveralls proclaiming them to be from LA, the UK, Chile, and Jordan. But no-one from the VZ government. The guest then added, this would be a wonderful time for the US to lead in the hemisphere, by helping. But the US government is a no-show too. I used to assume at least Rubio had some sort of functioning brain. But, if he does, and used it to argue for the US being a force for good, in VZ, he apparently has been shut down. Seems the US' interest in VZ only extends to how much MONRY the US can steal. The Venezuelan Proles are being ignored as expendable meat.
