Looked up the all time record price for WTI.

The highest market price ever recorded for West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was $147.27 per barrel in July 2008. This historic peak was driven by intense speculation and fears regarding peak oil supply. Other sources indicate peak spot prices around $145.31 during that same period in 2008.

According to the BLS inflation calculator, that $145.31 print is equal to $214.86 now.

Bubblevison's current quote for WTI just cracked $118.00, with Brent flipping around the same price, give or take a few cents.

in the time it took me to compose this post, WTI has already fallen back to $116 and change. See? No worries. But you should be eager to sacrifice everything you hold dear for the greater glory of the Trump.
