Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK.B) (NYSE:BRK.A), the massive insurance and investment firm built by Warren Buffett, lightened its holdings in some of its traditional banking stocks while loading up on more Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) shares, according to its latest 13F filing.
The firm also increased its stake in Apple (AAPL) to ~915.6M shares from ~907.6M, its largest equity investment. It also boosted holdings of paper and timber company Louisiana-Pacific (NYSE:LPX) to 7.04M shares from ~5.80M shares and in Paramount Global (NASDAQ:PARA) to 93.6M shares from 91.2M shares.
As for the reduced holdings: Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (NYSE:TSM) to 8.29M ADSs from from ~60.1M; US Bancorp (NYSE:USB) to 53.0M shares from 144.7M; BNY Mellon (NYSE:BK) to ~25.1M shares from 74.4M; Ally Financial (NYSE:ALLY) to 29.8M shares from ~30.0M, according to the filing.
