The fact she was paid hush money is not in dispute, and she would have no knowledge of how the payment was recorded in the Trump empire's books. So what is her purpose as a witness?

To testify that the original event did, in fact, happen. A lot of Trump supporters would like to pretend it didn’t, or that it’s something the Democrats made up, or that there is no basis in fact when, of course, there is.

I suspect her time on the stand will be brief, if salacious.
