That misses the 2nd part of what you wrote in the sentence before, the "moving in the opposite": Look at the daily movements of both, S&P and BRK, and you will see that the inverse is equally true: If the S&P (and Nasdaq) is up, BRK is down (neutral at best). Very visible this and the month before, but already the case since the beginning of the year.
