It wasn’t necessarily an endorsement of Labour; more like a rejection of the Tories who had been governing like the Liberals.

Why wouldn't they go for one of the parties further to the right? They could have gone to the Reform party instead of the Labour. If the Tories were governing like liberals and the people weren't happy with that, why pick the liberal Labour instead? Seems like that would be a move from a party acting like liberals to the actual liberals. And that makes no sense.

Seems more like a full on rejection of Conservative policies, particularly Brexit, which isn't working out at all like the Conservatives said it would.
