If anyone has a reliable source for free EOD data that's reasonably well-maintained, I'm all ears!

Nasdaq.com will give you 10 years' worth pretty easily, interactively speaking. e.g., at this link just click on "download" https://www.nasdaq.com/market-...

Downsides:
It does not include a dividend-adjusted series. There is a separate page for dividend history but it has no download button.

I'm not sure how well either page would work for automated scraping.
