What community activities or organizations are you involved in, if any, in your local community?

Are you a member of any service organizations?

Do you do volunteer work in your community?

Do you have needy friends or relatives that you ever help out? I'm not necessarily talking about with their finances.

I do not do most of the above due to disability.

Most of what is needed is not allowed--because the "bureaucracy" believes "it knows best". Yet they have NOT been able to stop mice in the building for over 50 yrs. So much for them.

When I was on the board of directors elsewhere, where we made the decisions and spent the money, stuff actually got done. I was in charge of the money, and the audit at the end of the year stated how closely we were to hitting the annual budget totals. Total expenditures for the year were within about 1/250th of the annual budget. Go ahead, you try to figure out how to build a redwood deck, shower, social zone, and more (i.e. protect all air movement stuff AND the roof surface ON THE ROOF) at the top of a 20-story building AND stay within 1/250th of your total annual budget.
