We went knowing that we were accomplishing nothing more than the feeling that we were not alone.

But it's a great start. I'm reminded that there is a "3.5 rule" about popular movements: that proportion of the population that can affect change. That's still a lot of people in the US, about 12 million people, but I can easily see that number of people organizing and protesting, and probably sooner than later.
