The Founding Fathers talked about tariffs and corporations? Wow. Didn’t know that.

You’re confused. In YOUR post, you talked about totalitarianism, not the Constitution. In America, we are a Republic with 3 equal branches of government (which according to Constitutional expert Tommy Tuberville are “the House, the Senate, and the Executive”). We also have a free market, which means that businesses can do as they please as long as they act within the law. When one person, say the president, tries to dictate what corporations are allowed to do, that’s called totalitarianism, not the free market.

The left is the home for political violence, you mean like the January 6th insurrection? cancel culture you mean like punishing corporations for being “woke” or for having DEI policies? and has a general fondness for totalitarianism. You mean like the various right-wing central and South American dictatorships, or Russia, or Germany in the 1940’s.

It’s the inevitable result of leftist/socialist thinking.

At least the “leftist” is thinking as opposed to falling lock-step behind a demented, autocratic, and chaotic leader such as Trump. If Trump told you the sky is green, you would believe him.

Totalitarianism is totalitarianism, whether it comes from the right or the left. And regardless of which direction it comes from, it ends up looking exactly the same. Like totalitarianism.
