Some of the authoritarian cruelty is driven by ideology, and some of it is driven by sheer incompetence. It’s almost impossible to distinguish between the two.

Aided and abetted by a USSC that allows them to continue their rampage via the “shadow docket”.

No explanation for their reasoning- leaving us to suspect that they know their reasoning is mere acquiescence to the dictator. Certainly not constitutional.
