'think twice' about electric vehicles ...

This is the world-wide engineering challenge of our generation, and it goes far beyond powering vehicles. I'm not a greenie, and I grew up in the west Texas oil patch, but I see tremendous geopolitical benefits in transitioning away from hydrocarbon energy. The key to solving this challenge that will satisfy everyone (except oil producers) is finding a suitable zero-emission base load energy source. That requires innovative thinking.
