Perhaps because the southern border states are taking the blunt of the influx of migrants and think to themselves, 'enough is enough'.

I'm talking about wayyyy before this got started. I'm talking about a perspective on life in general, not a reaction to specific unusual circumstances. But I'm just preaching to the choir here, sadly.
