Subject: Re: Jack Smith Deposition Released
LurkerMom: At one point, Smith appeared to admit that he didn't have any solid evidence...

In fact, Smith said just the opposite:"As I said, our evidence is that he in the weeks leading up to January 6th created a level of distrust. He used that level of distrust to get people to believe fraud claims that weren't true. He made false statements to State legislatures, to his supporters in all sorts of contexts and was aware in the days leading up to January 6th that his supporters were angry when he invited them and then he directed them to the Capitol."

LurkerMom: Smith later moved to drop the case after Trump won reelection in 2024...Smith also moved to drop that case after Trump's election victory.

You do understand that dropping the cases had nothing at all to do with the strength of the cases or whether or not the department of justice believed juries would convict Trumpedo.

Then again, maybe you don't.
