I think there are certainly some insightful or informative things to be said from time to time that may be relevant both to investing and politics, because they both tie to economics.


There are HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of message boards and substack boards on the internet which discuss and debate investing and politics.

TMF and now shrewdm is dedicated to the primary, if not sole, purpose of discussion of investing. Let's keep it that way instead of (poorly) dredging in discussions of non-investing.

Manlobbi created this site for a specific purpose. Not to serve as a poor imitation of those other thousands of sites. He even created a couple of boards for people to vent on about non-investment topics. Keep it there instead of polluting the BRK and like boards.
