Yes, they are. Rep. Ruben Gallego (member of the House Progressive Caucus) has long since declared that he was running for the Democratic nomination. He'll likely be the party's nominee, and have the full-throated support of progressive groups in Arizona and nationally.
And hopefully one of 2 things happen.
1. The GOP nominates somebody other than Kari Lake, Sinema splits the vote, and the GOP takes the seat.
2. The AZ GOP convinces KS to run as a Republican (she won't, but it's a possibility).
