President Trump on Saturday gave Iran 48 hours to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or reach a peace agreement — or face a new round of military strikes targeting the country's energy infrastructure.

"Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT," Trump posted on Truth Social. "Time is running out — 48 hours before all Hell will reign down on them. Glory be to GOD!"

As long time Middle East hand, Gary Sick, said in his interview on Amanpour last night, the Iranians have learned, the hard way, you can't believe anything that comes out of Trump's pie hole.
