Subject: Trump, Denmark and Greenland
Imagine how betrayed Denmark must feel.

They joined the US in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Their total numbers of troops was, of course, much lower than the US, given Denmark's much smaller population. But...

when measured per capita (as a proportion of their total population), Denmark suffered some of the highest casualty rates among all NATO allies.

Per Capita Comparison:

While the absolute number of Danish deaths is much smaller, the impact on their small population of roughly 6 million was severe:
Afghanistan: Denmark suffered approximately 7.38 to 7.82 deaths per million people. Many sources identify this as the highest or second-highest per capita loss rate of any nation in the NATO coalition, often rivaling or exceeding that of the U.S. depending on the specific phase of the conflict analyzed.

Why in the hell does Trump want to make enemies of our natural allies? I know, the simple answer is he is a stupid fck. There is no good reason for this land grab. Greenland has generously let us base units and facilities on their land. That should be adequate.

It might be hyperbole, but it's easy to believe, that Trump saw a Mercator projection of the earth and thought "Oh, Greenland is HUGE! I want that!" And Trump has always felt no need to ask for consent. He believes he has the right to use his grubby little fingers to grab whatever he wants, be it a woman's pssy or another sovereign land. And remember, when asked about any constraints there might be on this power, he replied 'only my own morality'. Of which he has NONE.
