With s&P 500 you have had multiple expansion, abt 40pct over that time frames whereas the S&P 600 has seen a contraction of abt 18pct.

fwd profit margin for the S&P600 has gone from 5.8pct to 6.6pct. For the S&P500 its gone from 10.2pct to abt 13pct.

earnings have grown abt 146pct for the S&P 600 and about 135% for the S&p500


I know which one i would pick if i had to choose one or the other today
