Subject: ICE Agent Charged
Prosecutors in Minneapolis brought the first charges against an ICE agent. Gregory Donnell Morgan pointed his weapon out the window of a rental car he was driving at two occupants driving unaware. Mr. Morgan drove his rental car on the dirt shoulder of the road and pointed his weapon out the window directly at a moving car on a hwy. Mr. Morgan was driving back to a federal building to get gas.
The driver said he had understood that there was “a crazy person driving down the road aiming guns at people,” according to the complaint. ICE agents have no authority to enforce state or local traffic laws.
“Driving while pointing a weapon out of your moving vehicle at the victims who are in another moving vehicle could have led to a disastrous incident in a community"
