Back in the mists of time (1970's or 1980's, I think), cockroaches were found in Sears Easter baskets. Their stock plunged 25%. I said to myself "Self, has the value of Sears' business really decreased from yesterday to today by 25%? Nope - so I laid a stack of chips on them and it took a few weeks to get back to where they had been and I sold the stake.
