Gotta boot all the radical leftist blue politicians out of office to get the national debt down.

iirc, the national debt was a hair under $1T, when Saint Reagan took office. The accumulation of debt leveled off a bit in the late 90s too. But, to certain people, job #1 is tax cuts for "JCs", even if the tax cuts exceed anything done to replace that lost revenue.
