Subject: Re: Protest in our little town
Perhaps 1,500 or more of us showed up
in the square of our ultra-red county of ~250k.
We were deeply present, enthusiastic, even jubilant.
A MAGA counter-protest had been promoted –
the few dozen that showed up huddled in a back corner.

As we entered through the back
I spotted a big old guy sporting a MAGA cap
taking a photo of me.
Perhaps it's paranoia, but it felt like a threat:
"We know who you are!"
