"Do you think it's good policy for the jails to follow an ICE detainer and hand someone over if they've committed a crime?"

The right questions. Indeed.

The right follow up question is why if it was good enough back then that we need all the performative theater and riots now. The answer is because the theater and riots are features, not bugs.
