Trump can’t keep making threats and then backing away. Either do it or don’t; he’s losing credibility with the constant We Have A Deal.

I agree. He looks like a bellowing buffoon. Of course, if I am right, the objective is to keep the Strait closed, that means he needs to maintain Iran as a threat. So, no deal, no declaring victory and walking away, no bombing Iran into the stone age. Just continued stalemate. Of course, he can't admit it. So, carry on with the kabuki dance. And, knowing what he is going to say, from day to day, and knowing the sheep in the financial markets react to his every utterance, he can make himself a fortune, pushing the market up and down.
