I'd like to see Berkshire buy Buc-ees. My rough estimate of the Florence, SC store opened last year is $700M revenues and likely more than $85M in bottom line profits from that one (1) store. Buc-ees is literally hoovering all that money away from other Interstate stores within a 100 mile radius. If Berkshire likes Pilot Flying J, it would likely love (love vs like emphasized) Buc-ees. The two founders are still running Buc-ees and are in their late sixties-early 70s. The kind of owner-operators Warren embraces. Forty-four (44) locations and still plenty room to continue growing their interstate footprint.
