That is down, isn't it? And 2023 is the most recent year data are available, right?

Homicides clearly declined from 2022 to 2023.

And the HUGE spikes in violent crime occurred in the Trump years between 2019 and 2020, from 1,195,986 to 1,272,812, significantly above the increase from 2021 to 2022. Those same years, Trump years 2019 to 2020, murders went from 16,964 to 22,510. The Biden years 2021 and 2023 had the lowest violent crime rates going back decades.
