Odds in May on a November presidential vote outcome are as predictive as the odds of the World Series champs on opening day.

Perhaps more relevant, I see the odds on whether or not the first presidential debate will be postponed or canceled have "no" as a -500 favorite, while yes is a 3-1 underdog. Dementia Don was scared to death to debate in the republican primaries where his opponents could talk about his crimes and it seems even more likely he'll want to avoid a debate stage over which he has no control, no audience, and the threat of having his microphone muted.

In front of a rally crowd that adores him, Dementia Don cannot sustain a logical conversation for ninety minutes without going off into odd tangents, stumbling incoherently over words, and standing in silence when his teleprompter malfunctions (which has happened during his last two rallies, prompting him to threaten not to pay the vendors).

Will his malignant narcissism allow his opponent to call out his nonsensical statements ("What kind of a person embraces the idea of a 'Unified Reich'?" or "One day he wants to ban contraception and the next day he forgets what he said and claims he'll protect contraception. How can you trust a man like that?") and embarrass him in front of a national audience or will he make an excuse to back out ("CNN is fake news" or "George Stephanopoulos hates me and I don't trust ABC")?

Dementia Don has already floated the idea of insisting on a drug test for Biden. I think Biden should agree as long as Dementia Don agrees to get on a scale in public or releases a decade of his tax returns.
