Subject: Re: Israel ordered to stop?
I'm not quite sure what your point is. Much of the west has been imploring (not demanding) Israel to do better about reducing civilian casualties and/or withdraw completely. With the recent killing of aid workers, that call has become louder. Israel responded by sacking at least two commanders involved.

Is that what you're referring to?

Don't know what backpackers have to do with anything (are some missing or arrested?).

About the only thing that everybody seems to agree upon is that they don't want an escalation. So even the embassy attack wasn't enough to make Iran more aggressive. (Plus, Iran's economy is weak and probably couldn't withstand a prolonged direct conflict with anyone, which is why they use proxies.)
