Subject: fontline: biden on pbs
as always, amazing piece of documentary\journalism on biden, flaws and all.
someone that used his NOT humble ambitions to serve the greater good, and how being a team player was sometimes a major mistake (the clarence thomas hearings).

came away more appreciative of his impact and consequence on very long timescales.
in prior eras, the GOP challenger was not perceived as such a national threat, and that had driven biden since his own VP term.

also very helpful in realizing why in 2024 it may have been so difficult to step down in the face of an existing threat, as biden had many times in the past beaten personal&political odds using only his faith backed by family.

i wonder if biden's story still has juice...does being effectively a lame duck free him (and his team) to do something bold before leaving in 2025?
(beyond the expected such as cannabis legislation, etc...)
