Not really US policy, but we have historically been pretty intertwined. A piece of "Bibi". He has some scary/radical friends (Ben-Gvir and Smotrich). Both seem OK with genocide. Also implied is that Bibi is desperate to hold power, because once he's out of office he is likely to go to jail.
