And presented with enough evidence that there is a loan, trained investigators document it and drop it, moving onto a more promising area. However this is a politically motivated investigation, so this is not done. Instead what you do is mention the $200,00 payment that has "loan" written on it,, then mention money from Chinese sources paid to Hunter, or maybe just that he's affiliated with them, etc. This, or something similar, seems to do the trick every time and without proof, and with evidence to the contrary, people become firm believers and that faith cannot be shaken.
