Just, exactly, what is a "regional power"?

"Bibi" is talking about Israeli hegemony, through the Middle East, the "Greater Israel" project as official government policy.

And he's doing it on our dime. The US doesn't have money for "affordable" higher education. No money for "affordable" health insurance. But we can spend $2B per DAY advancing "Bibi's" dream.
