44-year peace demonstration removed

On September 5, a journalist from Real America’s Voice asked President Donald Trump about the presence of a pro-peace demonstration that has been staged around the clock outside the White House since 1981, calling it “anti-America sometimes, anti-Trump at many times.” On September 7, law enforcement dismantled the tent. The site’s longest-serving demonstrator said that the incident was likely to end up in court. Source: The Guardian
