And I'm too old and frail - I'm no wzambon, that's for sure! - that much as as I'd like to, I can't even "take to the streets" or "take up arms in rebellion" in defense of Liberty. (*) But I think that's what it will actually take to put an end to this.
Wzambon will “take to the streets” as long as he doesn’t have to walk more than a mile, stand for more than an hour, or march more than 200 yards to find a port-a-potty.
But wzambon is retired (as I assume you are).
So you and wzambon have time….
Time to make phone calls to congresscritters
Time to volunteer- in either political campaigns or agencies and social service organizations that have lost funding
Time to talk to our friends
Time to talk to strangers
Time to be decent human beings
And having worked all those years, we even have a few shekels to donate to the many good causes out there that need our support.
When you begin thinking you are too old, just remember that in 1776, when Benjamin Franklin signed the Declaration of Independence, he was 71-72 years old- and he served the country for many years after that……… most of that while sitting on his butt
