Heard a hilarious conspiracy theory last night: the Epstein operation was a "honey pot".

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said, in an interview, on video, speculating that all of the encounters Epstein facilitated were video taped. Those tapes were then traded for favors, primarily Epstein being sentenced to a paltry 18 months in jail, for crimes that should have brought a decades long sentence.

Later legal troubles
In 2019, Epstein was arrested again on new federal sex trafficking charges in New York. He was being held without bail while awaiting trial, but he was found dead in his jail cell on August 10, 2019, before he could be sentenced.

The conspiracy theory voiced last night, was Epstein was running a "honey pot", a well known tactic in espionage circles for getting targeted persons in a compromising situation, then using that information to blackmail the target. Most likely entities running the operation were CIA, or Mossad. I would add the FSB.

Notice how the Epstein issue has blown up, in recent weeks, just as Trump started expressing irritation at Putin's intransigence? There has always been chatter about a "pee pee" tape recorded in a Moscow hotel. What if all the tapes were shot in Epstein's operation? What if Epstein bartered tapes of prominent Florida persons to get the slap on the wrist in 2008, but kept others, including Trump? What if Epstein was greased in prison, to prevent him trying to barter the tape to Trump, because Trump was useful to the FSB?
