Subject: Re: on hold...
70 minutes this hold lasted.
I was actually able to field a call from another company while on hold, and when I got back to the first call I was still on hold.
This is how we spend our modern lives: on hold on the phone, and at stoplights.
Last year I had reason to talk to a real person at Social Security. Long wait times, really long. And then you sometimes get someone who seems clueless, or at least new to the job, and then once it a while you get a really knowledgeable and helpful person.
With the new 'streamlined' DOGE SSA, will there be any hope of talking to a real person? Most automated systems SUCK.
