Subject: Re: Dying Bullish Euphoria - A Paratest
When you referred to a look-back of say 120 days, does that mean you looked back 120 days to determine whether a 99-day high had been made in that 120 day period? Or, does it mean you looked to see whether a 120-day high had been made in the previous 99 days? (or possibly a 120-day high in the previous 120 days?)

I'm not Jim obviously ..... but

Clearly you could tune both parameters separately but in Jim's post that Zee pointed to at:

I read it that Jim was suggesting to keep both parameters the same for simplicity so if picking 99 days you looked for a 99 day high in the last 99 days or if 120 days, you looked for a 120 day high in the last 120 days, etc.

My understanding is that days = market days and not calendar days in all cases.
