Wednesday night, the Arleigh Burke-class Aegis-equipped guided-missile destroyer USS Carney engaged three cruise missiles and approximately eight drones launched by Iran-backed Houthi terrorists operating in Yemen. The missiles were all destroyed, as were the drones. The Carney incident is covered starting at 1:15 in the video below.

Two military bases that house U.S. troops in Iraq were targeted with drone attacks on Wednesday. The Islamic Resistance, a group of Iranian-backed militias claimed responsibility for the attacks and threatened more to come. There were minor injuries to U.S. troops reported at the Al-Asad Airbase.

Iran does not engage anyone directly. They have their proxy terror groups for that.
