Subject: Re: What is Trump's plan?
They (two republicans) refused to certify the primary votes even though Trump won resoundingly?

Yes, exactly. It was a test run.

Let’s say Harris gets enough electoral votes to win the presidency by one state, like Georgia. The idea is to sow confusion so that the Georgia vote doesn’t get certified at the state level. Even if one district that was clearly won by Trump does not certify the voting district, the state can’t certify the entire state election. In that case, no candidate gets enough electoral votes to win the election.

Then the election is decided by the House of Representatives where each state gets 1 vote for president. That clearly favors Trump.

It is an insidious and nefarious anti-democratic plot, right up the Republicans alley to grab power by any means possible, the ends justify the means party.

Now, there are controls in some states to allow the state to override a rogue district when this happens. But what happens when the state regulators go along with the scheme?

The Democracy Docket, run by Marc Elias, has more information about this, including their plan to fight this type of action.

The Electoral College is outdated and clearly undemocratic. It is an embarrassment to any democracy and must be changed.
