These clowns have been doing stuff for the 25 years I've lived in Seattle. Every year for a while on May 1 they'd start marching in the Capitol Hill neighborhood and then head to the shopping district downtown. They'd smash trash cans, graffiti things, then smash up some stores. Niketown (before they left) would hire extra security to ring their store.

It was ridiculous. Seattle cops would largely let them do it. They'd also assault random people on the street - I remember this one dude is just walking down the street and a marcher walks up to him and sprays him in the face with silly string. The look of mindless joy on the anarchist's face was something else. The guy just stood there and took it.

So they're not a new thing. During the riots of St. George from Floyd they started feeling their political oats, big time. That's when they graduated to being the hard left's street army.
