As for the SCOTUS textualists, perhaps they should remember that our Founding Fathers named the body the House of Representatives, not the House of Gerrymandering.

The fact that Old Dixie didn’t even wait for the body of the Voting Rights Act to grow cold before violating the (now dead) provisions of the Voting Rights Act, seems to suggest:

1. The USSC’s argument that the Voting Rights Act was no longer needed……… was bunkum.

2. Scratch a modern day MAGA Republican…. and underneath the flag pin on his lapel and red tie around his neck…… you can see the butternut gray and Stars and Bars of the old Southern Democrats who led the rebellion. All Republicans who still cast their lot with the Union are RINOS, and are now an endangered, almost extinct species.
