Subject: Re: the police state tightens it's grip
I live in Utah.

In 2016 my wife and son got their mail-in ballots, but mine never arrived. My neighbor who is a lawyer and Democratic activist was checking the county voter registration rolls and noticed that mine had been mailed to a PO Box in a town 50 miles away. It was an address that I had not used in 20 years. And for the last 20 years, until 2016, I had always gotten my ballot at my current address.

When I went to the county clerk's office they said, oops, the voter rolls had been updated and somehow they had gone back to an address I hadn't used in 20 years. Old addresses had been used for quite a few local voters.

Now...I tend to think that this was some kind of clerical error. But living in a state that is overwhelmingly Republican and where the party controls almost everything, it's impossible not to feel a little paranoid about such things.
