Even I took notice at 50 grand sign on bonus. But this being clandestine, not identifying yourself as police, no badges, no warrants, etc., is just too far down the paramilitary Nazi gestapo KGB road. I'm surprised there haven't been shots fired, but the immigrants seem more peaceful than our white supremacists with Storm Trooper fantasies.

At 15-16 the family traveled up from Panama to the USA in a station wagon. I can still see the fully uniformed military guards on either side of the bank doors in Nicaragua. Back then USA police were Barney Fife and LOOKED like civilian police. Then slowly we converted to paramilitary swat units after being out gunned by our paramilitary nut job thieves.

Now we look just like any third world country, with military type police sweeping into the plaza - the movement that direction is complete as we build Alligator Alcatraz. Congratulations, right wing, you did it. Now you can get repulsed and abused by what you created, as we head into an inflationary recession that befuddles me as to how to invest and protect my capital. We crossed the line into paramilitary and now we are knee deep in it, and it's administered by people who seize emergency powers and norms and guardrails seem to be gone. I don't think much of some of the judicial decisions.
